As part of the practical on Planning and Implementing Income-Generating Activities for Women, students undertook a hands-on activity on the tie-dyeing of dupattas at the Human Development Laboratory, University of Kashmir, on 03 September 2026. The activity provided practical exposure to the techniques and processes involved in tie-dyeing while developing skills that can be imparted to women as a potential income-generating and entrepreneurial activity. The practical also enhanced students’ understanding of planning, demonstrating, and implementing skill-based activities for women at the community level.
