As part of the extension and community outreach activities, an awareness programme was organized at the Anganwadi Centre on 21 May 2026 to educate community members about the availability and importance of various family welfare programmes and services. The programme aimed to enhance awareness regarding maternal and child health care, immunization, nutrition services, sanitation and hygiene, family welfare initiatives, and girl child education.

Various educational aids, including charts and flash cards, were utilized to communicate information in a simple, interactive, and visually appealing manner. These teaching materials helped participants better understand the objectives, benefits, and accessibility of different welfare schemes available through government and community agencies.

The programme witnessed active participation from community members, particularly women, mothers, and children. Discussions were held to address their queries and encourage the effective utilization of welfare services for the improvement of health, nutrition, education, and overall well-being.

The activity successfully promoted awareness about family welfare programmes and highlighted the role of community participation in achieving better health and social outcomes. It also emphasized the importance of informed decision-making and utilization of available resources for the holistic development of families and the community.
