The Centre for Women’s Studies & Research, in collaboration with the Institute of Home Science, University of Kashmir, successfully organized a 3-Day Workshop on “Leadership Program for Women Managers in Higher Education: Challenges, Opportunities and Strategies” on 17th November 2025 at 10:30 AM in Gandhi Bhavan, University of Kashmir.

The event was graced by Ms. Sakeena Masood (Itoo), Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Health & Medication, Social Education, and Social Welfare Department, who kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. Prof. Nilofer Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, presided over the function as the Guest of Honour.

The workshop aimed to empower women managers with strategic leadership skills, address emerging challenges in higher education, and provide a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and opportunities to foster inclusive institutional growth.
