Observation and Assessment Practical: Studying School Adjustment During Late Childhood Years



This field visit and observation practical was conducted at University of Kashmir Model School on 06-05-2026 for the 2nd Semester Human Development course. The practical focused on studying school adjustment during late childhood years by observing students’ academic performance, social interaction, emotional responses, and behavioral patterns within the school environment. Through classroom observation and interaction analysis, the study aimed to understand how children adapt to school life and peer relationships. The cooperative atmosphere provided by the students and staff helped in carrying out meaningful observations and assessments successfully.
