This observation and assessment field visit was conducted on 18-05-2026 at University of Kashmir Model School as part of the Human Development practical programme. The practical focused on assessing the cognitive and moral development of school children in the educational environment.

The main objective of the assessment was to understand students’ thinking abilities, reasoning skills, learning capacity, and moral behavior according to their developmental stage. During the observation, children were assessed through classroom participation, interaction with peers and teachers, problem-solving activities, and overall social behavior. The practical provided valuable insights into students’ cognitive growth, discipline, cooperation, honesty, and moral understanding, helping students gain practical knowledge about child development and behavioral assessment in a school setting.
