A Medical Check-Up Camp was organized for the children of the Day Care Centre, Institute of Home Science, University of Kashmir. The programme was conducted by the Health Centre of the University of Kashmir in collaboration with PARAS Hospial as part of an initiative to promote child health and well-being.
The camp aimed to assess the overall health status of children through comprehensive medical examinations conducted by qualified healthcare professionals. The health screening included general physical examinations, growth monitoring, assessment of nutritional status, and identification of any common health concerns requiring further attention or intervention.
The programme provided an opportunity for early detection of health issues and offered guidance to caregivers and staff regarding proper nutrition, hygiene, preventive healthcare, and healthy lifestyle practices for children. Parents and caregivers were also sensitized about the importance of regular health check-ups in ensuring the healthy growth and development of children.
