Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan and the 100 Days Awareness Campaign, a documentary screening programme on drug awareness was organized on 13th May 2026 at University of Kashmir. The initiative was conducted as per the circular issued by the Department of Students Welfare to create awareness among students about the harmful effects and serious consequences of drug addiction.

The documentary film titled “Drug Addiction – Threat to Life,” produced and directed by Er. Abdul Rashid Bhat, was screened for students across departments to sensitize youth towards the growing issue of substance abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free society. The programme witnessed active participation from students and faculty members and served as an important step in reinforcing collective social responsibility, awareness, and preventive action against drug abuse within the university community.
