Institute Picnic 2026: A Day of Togetherness, Joy and Memories at Pahalgam

The Institute of Home Science, University of Kashmir, organised a memorable picnic that brought together the teaching, technical and office staff, research scholars, and students from different academic batches in a spirit of togetherness and camaraderie. The outing was attended by students of Batch 2024 (Outgoing), Batch 2025 (3rd Semester), Batch 2026 (Freshers), and FYIMP 2026, making it a wonderful gathering of the Institute community.

The group explored the picturesque Pahalgam Valley, Ashmuqam, and several other scenic locations, enjoying the calm, refreshing and soothing surroundings of the valley. The day was filled with laughter, enthusiasm and cheerful participation, with students and staff engaging in different games, enjoying the flowing water streams, capturing memorable photographs, and sharing snacks, tea and meals together.

Beyond the scenic beauty and recreational activities, the picnic provided a valuable opportunity for students, scholars, faculty and staff to interact beyond the classroom and workplace, strengthening bonds and fostering a sense of belonging within the Institute. It was a day of shared happiness, friendship and collective memories—a truly memorable get-together and a cherished experience for the entire Institute family.
