On October 8, 2025, the 3rd Semester students of Extension and Communication, Institute of Home Science, organized a group discussion at the Fishers Colony, Foreshore. The objective was to involve various rural target groups—including farmers, farm women, and farm youth—in planning relevant extension activities. Through participatory dialogue, students facilitated the identification of local needs, priorities, and suitable interventions. The activity helped students understand the value of inclusive planning and the role of communication skills in designing effective and community-driven extension programs.
