The students of 3rd Semester Human Development (HD) undertook a field visit to Fishermen Colony, Habak on 13 October 2026 as part of their practical course on “Planning and Implementing Income-Generating Activities for Women and Evaluating Their Impact on the Group.” The visit focused on the assessment of the functions and activities of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Centre in the locality. The students interacted with the centre personnel and observed the various services and activities undertaken for children and women, thereby gaining practical exposure to the implementation of community-based programmes and their role in promoting child development and women’s welfare.
