On October 8, 2025, the 3rd Semester students of Extension and Communication, Institute of Home Science, visited Khaki Mohalla, Habak, to explore the functioning of government agencies—particularly ICDS centers—working for the welfare of women. The visit emphasized services related to women's health, nutrition, education, economic empowerment, and social development. Students observed the roles of frontline workers, interacted with beneficiaries, and gained practical understanding of government initiatives aimed at improving the status of women. The experience enriched their academic learning with firsthand exposure to grassroots implementation of policies and programs.
